Spiritual Journey to Delhi

Frustrated and board with my every day life I was looking for some adventure, something new to do, something to explore… All the above and more! Feeling as if life is passing me by, working my days away and watching the weekends evaporate into Mondays. I really need a change, to do something to do. After some soul searching I thought why not go to India. Explore meditation, learn something about Hinduisms and Buddhism perhaps. Not certain what I am looking for I began to research. First things first I searched Delhi hotels finding plenty of accommodations in all price ranges and plenty of availability for the time period I was looking into going. One hotel touted it self as being quiet and out of the way near several spiritual centers, a great place to stay while on a spiritual journey. Deciding that perhaps the trip should be about exploring meditation I choose to book a room here as quiet sounded like a good thing for meditation.

Meditation sounds like it would be a relaxing and great way to self exploration. I am looking into a school that offers a 4 step classes in yoga and meditation in combination. The literature the school puts out stated this is a fast way to gain a deeper spiritual sense and understanding. The combination of the movement coupled with the stillness of meditation is supposed to promote an awakening of the spirit. I am not sure I believe however and curious and desperate enough to give it a try.

Well looking into the hotel and possible classes has given me a deeper desire to go. I am betting nothing will turn out as expected, somehow they never do on a journey of this type., bit that thereĀ  will be a deeper appreciation for the life I am leading.
