Butterflies and Birds in Kuala Lumpur

In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia hotels, museums, art galleries, and restaurants have remained successful even during the economic climate at the current time. And it is no wonder considering just the downtown sector. The architecture of this city is exquisite and innovative. The Petronas Towers seem to be out of a drawing from a Tolkien movie story board. Many travel to the city on business trips and discover that there is much more to this city. There are many historical mosques, built with the same architectural integrity. There are shopping centers and markets, trendy clubs and restaurants, and pristine beaches. There are many Chinese and Malaysian centers of culture, and consequently many festivals and celebrations occurring year round. When one travels to Kuala Lumpur on business, chances are they will return for pleasure. And due to the influx of visitors, the opportunity exists for those who perhaps can not spend the money on the luxury hotels and resorts, there are many services in the way of budget travel and accommodations. And in the middle of this metropolis, there are attractions which are breathtaking and of the natural world.
Birds and butterflies. There are two sites that should not be overlooked, the Butterfly Farm and the Bird Park. Over 6,000 specimens of butterflies with more than 100 different species are contained within this landscape. A bit of the tropics in the middle of the city. Designed ponds and paths wind through the park which supports, as well as the butterflies, more that fifteen thousands trees and plants. And near the Butterfly Farm is the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, one more oasis in the center of the city, and one of the largest parks of its kind in Southeast Asia. Just one may walk through tropical plants and ponds and walkways with the butterflies, such is true at the bird park. Birds from almost every indigenous species are locating in the park, thousands and thousands. So after the business meetings, the traffic of everyday life these are two locations that offer the peace and the respite that is so often provided by the natural world.
